Who We Are
Syntia Ltd (company number 16191360) is registered in England and Wales. Our registered address is 13 Freeland Park, Wareham Road, Poole, Dorset BH16 6FA.
We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website. If you have questions about how we handle your data, contact us at syntia@redskymail.com.
What Data We Collect
We collect personal data only when you submit our contact form. The information collected is:
- Your name
- Your email address
- The message you write to us
We do not collect any other personal data through this website.
How We Use Your Data
We use the information you provide solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not use it for marketing purposes, add you to any mailing list, or share it with third parties for their own use.
Legal Basis for Processing
We process contact form submissions on the basis of legitimate interests - specifically, responding to a direct enquiry you have chosen to send us.
Third-Party Services
The following third-party services may process data in connection with your visit or contact submission:
- Elastic Mail - we use Elastic Mail's SMTP service to deliver contact form submissions to our inbox. Your name, email address, and message pass through their servers. Elastic Mail is GDPR-compliant.
- Google Fonts - this site loads fonts from Google's servers. When your browser requests a font file, your IP address is transmitted to Google as part of a standard HTTP request.
- Google Analytics - Google Analytics is not currently active on this site. If it is enabled in future, this policy will be updated to describe what data is collected and how.
Cookies
This site does not set any cookies of its own. Google Analytics, if activated in future, would set cookies - this policy and a cookie notice would be updated at that point.
Data Retention
Contact form submissions are kept only for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any reasonable follow-up. We do not maintain a long-term archive of message data.
Your Rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access - request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Rectification - ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Erasure - ask us to delete your data where there is no legitimate reason to keep it
- Restriction - ask us to limit processing of your data in certain circumstances
- Objection - object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Portability - receive your data in a structured, commonly used format
To exercise any of these rights, email us at syntia@redskymail.com. We will respond within one month.
Complaints
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). You can do this at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
